Our promises

7 promises. 7 consequences.

Most platforms post a privacy policy and call it trust. We post the promises that matter — and exactly what we owe you if we break one. Caught us slipping? Get in touch — we read every message.

  1. 01

    We will never sell your contact info.

    Your email, phone, and address never leave FlagPlay. Not to a partner. Not to an advertiser. Not to a "data co-op."

    If we break it

    Report it → 60-day company-wide pause on email outreach + public apology in the changelog.

  2. 02

    You can cancel in one click — and we will never bill you again.

    Cancel future renewals any time from your billing page — no phone call, no retention maze. Your plan stays active through the period you already paid for, then stops. Billing errors and duplicate charges are refunded to your original payment method within 5 business days. Full policy at /refunds.

    If we break it

    Charged after you canceled, or a billing error we don't fix in 5 business days → full refund + apology.

  3. 03

    We will never make a sales call to your phone.

    Sales never gets your phone number. The only times we call are: (a) you opened a support ticket and asked us to, (b) a coach used the in-app DM and you approved a callback.

    If we break it

    Any sales call → 12-month free subscription for the recipient.

  4. 04

    We will never blast outreach.

    Per-program-per-athlete 30-day cooldown enforced at the database layer. A coach cannot DM the same athlete twice in 30 days, and a program cannot route a second staff member around that cooldown.

    If we break it

    Missed cooldown → coach loses outreach for 30 days + public note.

  5. 05

    We will publish our coach verification standards.

    .edu email match against a curated college-program registry, plus manual review for ambiguous domains. Standards live on a public page and update with a changelog.

    If we break it

    Any unverified coach permitted to contact athletes → immediate suspension of the platform's coach DM feature until fixed + public RCA.

  6. 06

    We will never use dark patterns to make you pay more or stay longer.

    No hidden trials, no cancel-by-phone-only, no friction-stacking on downgrade. The plan you signed up for is the plan you keep paying for until you say otherwise.

    If we break it

    Report it → full refund + 6 months free + public design audit.

  7. 07

    We will tell you when we mess up.

    Every report you submit through /contact gets a real human reply within 72 hours — a person reads it and writes back. No bots, no canned "we value your feedback" auto-responder.

    If we break it

    Missed 72h SLA → 3-month free subscription for the reporter.
