Legal
Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026-05-29. We're still finalizing legal counsel review of this draft; the substantive commitments below are accurate.
What we collect
We collect the data athletes (or their guardians) provide voluntarily — name, date of birth, school, position, combine numbers, photos, videos, and recruiting preferences. FlagPlay does NOT require identity documents or birth certificates to create or maintain a profile. We also collect basic operational data when you use the site (page views, error logs, sign-in events).
How we use it
Athlete data is used to populate the recruiting profile that college coaches view. Operational data is used to keep the site fast and to investigate bugs. We do not sell data to third parties. We do not share data with brands or advertisers.
Under 13 (COPPA)
We require a parent or guardian to create profiles for any athlete under 13. The guardian remains the authoritative account holder until the athlete claims their own login (typically at high school age).
Your data, your rights
You have the right to:
- Export everything we hold on you — name, profile data, photos, reels, combine results, recruiting history. We respond within a reasonable timeframe.
- Delete your account and all linked athlete profiles. We process the request within a reasonable timeframe; backups age out over time.
- Correct any field on your profile — most are editable directly from /dashboard/profile.
To make any of these requests, email vonzelle@vzttechconsulting.com with the subject "Account data request"and we'll handle it from there.
Cookies & analytics
We use essential cookies for session management and limited analytics to keep the site fast and to debug issues. We may also use third-party services (for example, payment processors, email delivery, and product analytics) that set their own cookies as part of providing those services.
