Host your own ID camp
Built for parents in non-sanctioned states where no nearby camp exists. Submit your draft below — admin reviews each one before it goes live.
What hosting an ID camp actually takes
Skim this before you submit. We will pair you with a FlagPlay ops contact once admin approves, but most of the heavy lift is on the host side — same as any rec / club tournament.
Before the camp
- Reserve a regulation flag field (60×30 yds, end zones included) — most rec departments rent for $75-150/hr.
- Book 2 certified officials (regional flag football association directory works) for the live-action portions.
- File the city/park facility-use permit and confirm a rain date.
- Confirm liability insurance — a one-day rider via your league or NFL FLAG affiliation runs $50-100.
- Open registration with a hard cap so position drills stay in 6:1 athlete-to-coach ratios.
Day of
- Check-in table: print roster, distribute jersey-numbered pinnies, verify waiver on file for every minor.
- Warmup: 15-min dynamic + 10-min positional movement. Reduces soft-tissue strains for parents new to drills.
- Position drills: split QB / WR / RB / RUSHER / SAFETY / CENTER pods, 25 min per rotation.
- Live-action: 5v5 half-field reps, officials live, two-game minimum so every athlete gets film.
- Hydration + shade rotation every 25 min if heat index >85F.
After
- Upload combine results + position notes within 72 hours — late uploads break the ScoutingEncounter feedback loop.
- Prompt every attending coach to log a ScoutingEncounter for each athlete they evaluated (link from the camp page).
- Send a wrap-up email with film links + next-step recruiting guidance to every parent.
- Tag standout reps for the host-camp highlight reel — drives signups for next year.

We will match you to verified college coaches in your state and neighboring states once an admin approves the draft.
